I just got my gp paps v2 clone from desire ecig

the batteries (of all sizes) are SO LOOSE. I'm guessing this is so I can install a kick or something? What if I don't?

I can't see a way to adjust it so the battery actually makes contact with the pins.

Anyone? What am I missing??

edit: Got it...the 510 center pin has 2 parts that are threaded, and I can adjust them separately...

pretty happy with it so far...

Okay...10 days with this clone, and the switch is getting hot as hell already. I fixed this on my nemmy with the switch magnet upgrade.

Does anyone know where to get magnets for this, or know another way to fix the hot switch?

I'm going on the assumption that the reason switches get hot is that the spring is carrying the current and getting hot as hell...

Desire doesn't even list the paps clone any more...

If your switch starts getting hot you probably need to clean the threads and check the spring.
Resistance is building up in the switch somewhere.
Probably due to oxidation.
Clean it up. It should stop getting warm.

exactly what Bad Ninja said, mine gets dirty in no time (threads & contacts, 510 pin turn green) brass needs extra maintenance, threads/contacts/switch.....i clean mine with Nevr-Dull even the threads, then go over all the contacts with a pencil eraser, even the contact area on your battery until everything is brand new looking; then go over it with an ISO sprayed cloth.....i do this about once a week, yet i use mine daily....i also use a drop of blue lock-tight (not the red cause it's permanent) on the bottom contact nut on the switch to keep the contact nut from moving for a perfect contact fire when the button is pressed.........hits like a champ.
