Welcome and glad you joined.
Looks like you have a old form of dripper. I would not mess with a device that is on it's last legs. Could view:

Wow! Thank you so much for all the great information!!
I looked through it all last night and feel like a have a much better grasp on what I have and how it works, and what to do to maintain! I was building the coils by trying to replicate the one that was existing - it was pretty sloppy work, but after that video I'm much more confident!

Thank you!!

Good Morning,

So, in my supply/toolbox I found a spare spheroid cartomizer (?). I switched the tanks and it still doesn't secure, I flipped them both over, that didn't work either. :-( Both tops secure to other firing piece...so I noticed the spare had an o-ring and mine didn't, so I took the o-ring and that helps, but still not solid. It seems the problem is the threads on the firing piece but the spare firing piece doesn't work (probably why it was left in the box)...Argh!!

I can limp by with this as the top stays on as long as there is no pressure from the sides, but I should probably look for a new device :-( Any suggestions for similar set up? Or maybe I just need a new firing piece?

I will also take the spare firing piece apart and clean it up, try to figure out why it doesn't work, but I'm no spheroid mechanic!

Thank you all for your help!

There really aren't any tanks available that wick like the spheroid , but you can get a very similar vape with a basic mod and mtl rta. You just will be buying something that is 2 parts, a mod and a tank. There are all in ones, like your current device, but those are mainly not rebuildables. I think you would love the jac vapour mod, but if you want to stick with a tube, then perhaps a dicodes or provari (which can be had here on the classifieds) but you definitely have more options with a smaller box like the Jac. There is also the isticks, which are small boxes and very light. Also for small boxes, the pico's are very popular and hold up very nice. As for a tank, the svoemesto prime, darvw, doggystyle, berserker, are great mtl rtas.

Thank you so much for all the recommendations and pointing me in the right direction!

Off to research, but I may be back with more questions. :)
