Gp spheroids

Can't seem to get my gp spheroids firing up. I use genesis Atty and haven't had problems. This is my first silica, after recoiling for hours it still can't fire. From 4 wraps to 10wraps of kanthal 32 and it wont fire. I also can't remove the base section of the atty as recommended by vapourart to see if there is a problem

What device are you putting it on? Mine won't fire on a P+ because the center pin of the Spheroid won't make contact with the positive post of the P+. Consequently, I generally have to put the Spheroid on something with an adjustable positive post. If that's not the problem, then you will have to somehow get the base off and see if there's anything going on inside. You probably already know this, but it is reverse-threaded.

My first spheroid gave me fits--I was advised to take apart the base and tighten the nuts under the pins, that solved all my probs as one of the nuts was really loose and not making contact with the base. Maybe you could try that? If not, try asking in Perseas's thread, he or someone in there could probably help you.
