grand vapor Trident seems really harsh!

Hi everyone!
I just got a my Trident in the mail and can't even take a small puff without burning my throat! It came prewicked and coiled at .8 ohms. I put the same juice in it as I've been using in my other attys with no problem. Do I need to make a special batch of juice with lower nic just for the Trident? It feels super harsh but I'm not even blowing out that big of a cloud..

usually the premade wicks that show up in most attys suck, and very rarely are they aligned with the airholes correctly so it would probably be better to make new ones and tweak them to work properly
