Grandmother in the hospital for surgery

She fell and broke her hip... she's a very active 86 year old, so it's gonna be hard for her to loose so much mobility. Surgery should be sometime in the morning.

I don't have peace about her salvation either. I've spoken to her about it though...

Just keep both her physical and spiritual needs in your prayers.

Holy Father, Almighty God of all, I humbly come before you with a heart felt request. As Your child, I know You hear me as I come in the Name of Jesus, our Mighty Savior. There is a woman that is up in years and I know You know her well. I ask that first, you open her eyes and ears to hear the Holy Spirit's urging to come to Jesus for salvation. Only You and she know if she has received Jesus in her heart or not. Lord I ask that nothing happen to her until Jesus is in her heart. Once she is spiritually healed through Jesus, I ask that You guide the surgeon's hands as he performs the operation tomorrow. Take care of the pain so she doesn't wind up relying on pain meds and become addicted. I ask Lord, that You bring her through this tragic situation and turn it into something good. After the surgery, she is going to need care...maybe in a swing bed facility to help her exercise her leg to where she can take care of herself again. This is going to be tedious, and I ask Dear Father that you give the family courage, strength, and rest. The part of a caregiver is difficult.
