Take a look at some of the stuff done by the artist ruth thompson (she's an ohio artist) over at tarnishedimages.com ..she's got a whole bunch of paintings like that and several that go together in a series...
a series of angels, a couple differet series of faries, lots of dragons, and another series (I forget the exact wording) but the pieces are The Druid, The shaman, The magi, The priestess that are just awesome .. also another piece by her called howl that rocks..

some nice work there :thumb:

Yeah, shes one of my favorite artists..I used to buy at least one piece or her art from her a year since she had a stand at the medieval reenactment event I go to every summer.. now I got to go to her studio instead which isnt so bad as it's on the way there and still here in Ohio

The witch chuck is still one of my favorite chucks ever...

It was one of the first full wrap chucks.
I'm still looking for something similar to it for my next chuck. I like the woods in the background, the fog, the look in the eyes, the devious smile, etc. It's got a lot of cool little details about it. I just don't want to copy one that already exists. It's very hard to decide on a graphic, it's almost like picking a tat.

Along the "witch" lines.... I was playing with this image

But didn't get very far - Here's where I stopped:

I was just checking my DA account and decided to look through the wallpaper gallery and there was a new wallpaper from someone using that picture and 2 others and a link to the original artists website.

Victoria Francés - Inicio

Didn't make it through all of it yet but she has some other pretty nice work. Alquimia is a nice one.

Dude, you're good.
I wish I had those PS skills.
I don't even know how that's possible :?:

TY!

LMAO! I'm laughing b/c I'm a PS hack. My sister and brother-in-law both work(ed) for Adobe (one of them specifically on designing Photoshops tools) and compared to them I SUCK! I know just enough to tweak things, I leave the critical final images to the professionals!
