I quit smoking in Jan 09 somewhere in Oklahoma. We were doing a cross country move with our two kids 8yrs and 4mo, and our Rottie, pulling a u-haul with a tiny hatchback. I love nicotine, but I was fed up with the side effects and just decided enough was enough. With the encouragement of my oldest daughter, now 9 yrs, I haven't had an analog since. There have been numerous close calls though, and until I found e-cigs I obsessively carried around an unopened pack and lighter, and even while at home checked it frequently as if afraid it wouldn't be there. In June my sister (also a smoker) told me about e-cigs, I began to research and found this forum. I purchased a new SE Gold for less than half the usual cost, and started my foray into the vaping world. I started on low nic, knowing my mind wanted it's beloved nicotine, and now I can vape non-nic most of the time with only a few ultra low-nic vapes the rest of the day.

Without e-cigs I would have failed, I know this because I started smoking 12 years ago and have stopped many many times. I have never resisted the offer of a cigarette though, and if anyone offers me a nicely lit analog now, I hope that I will finally have the ability to resist.

I have now ordered a 901 auto starter kit with extra battery, carts and atomizers, and a 901 manual starter kit. As well as nice selection of juices, I like Juicy Liquid more than some of the other companies juice I've tried.

I only survived because I always have my kids with me and my 9yr old would have given me a scathing lecture about the harms of smoking had I succumbed (dang school system). So instead it was like having a fire extinguisher in the kitchen, I may never use it but I'm dang glad it's there (yes I still have them, but I no longer check to see if there still there or carry them around).

I quit analogs mainly for my 11 yr old son but I was very ready to quit and now I feel so much better! But yea, if he even suspects I may have smoked he sniffs me lol especially my hands :p then he says 'ok mom just checkin' .....it's hard but you've done a great job! He now has a ton of questions about my 510 and still reminds me that although it is good that I'm not smoking analogs nicotine is still a very addictive drug... damn schools

Definitely tastes nothing like analogs lol. Heck right now I have 3 berry flavors from Juicy Liquid I'm vaping; a 0mg Raspberry, a Ultra Low (like 3mg) Blueberry, and a 6mg Berry Blend that tastes like my fave discontinued perfume used to smell. I have lemon, orange, coconut, cherry, rum and marlboro, coffee, and chocolate testers from nuvape(not real good, but the marl is almost authentic tasting and it took a heavy cleaning to get the taste of it and the coffee out of my atty). I also have a cherry, chocolate, and strawberry from tasty vaping (not bad but not great, weak flavors). If you like tobacco flav it might take you some work to find one or a combination you like.

from the reviews I have read, I wish they made a non nic version of
Janty Nwpt eLiquid - freshsmoking.com
Stranger.....I have had the Nu Port from Nhaler(which I'm sure is similar to the Janty Newport),and it is a very good flavor combination of tobacco and menthol...But again it's not a Newport...it's Newport e-liquid!:)The Wiz!
