I don't think there is anything to work out. I have a bottle of Betelgeuse and it has the same flavor, a very woody cedar tone with notes of fruit. It's pretty unpleasant. It's almost like the liquid was stored in a cedar box for a long time and absorbed the flavor.

I loved Gravity while I could taste it. But for me it didn't turn to the woody taste, it just turned to no taste. Very disturbing. I think one of the others in thread said it was like "reverse steeped juice". Funny, but sensible.

Mine have been sending me to fruitfilled nirvana since the end of April. I'm having nowhere near the experience you are.
