greasy taste

Is it VG or PG that might make a juice taste greasy? I am using several things...Stardust - medium flavor I think, tank with carto and T3 bottom coil.....some juices I have seem to have a greasy taste, or maybe too buttery , not quite sure how to explain it....so wondered if I buy a different % it might be cleaner. Using 80/20 PG/VG right now.

Pg and vg are virtually flavorless, so it's probably the flavoring that has that taste.

Don't be surprised if you get a glycerin-y residue on your face from the vapor - a little witch hazel or mild astringent will wipe that away (or wash your face, lol.) That could be the grease-y feeling. But some flavors have more creaminess than others. I'm assuming it's VG because that's thicker.

I think juice tastes greasy when it's too cool a vape. Never heard anyone else nail the problem but yeah, greasy. Might not be your situation, though.
Some flavorings have a sort of viscous aftertaste, too.

maybe I will try a higher setting on my twist. it taste greasy right away....it's a butterscotch that I have in a travel bottle so I don't remember where it came from, or what % it really is....Hmmm should pay more attention.

I intially thought that the greasy feeling I was getting from some e-juice must be the glycerin. Turned out (for me at least) it was the PG. PG also skews flavors for me somewhat so I have gone to a 50/50 or lower PG mix and it sorted it all out.
