Greetings; I got some new batteries on the weekend, and the Panasonic 18650 2250 mAh IMRs are working out especially well. I popped in a fully charged one late Monday night and, just past noon on Wednesday, it's still at 3.6 volts.

Compared to what i've been using, this is awesome battery time (I go through about 4 Ml a day of e-liquid). These are the batteries i got: https://www.canvape.com/product-p/pannie.htm

Regards
Glenn

FTR the page says those are protected batts AND safe chem batts (a first for me... I always thought batts were one or the other).... AFAIK protected batts are not recommended to use with the Vamo as the protection circuit can make the Vamo perform inconsistently. Also, if they are safe chemistry they shouldn't need a protection circuit ? From what I understood the protection circuit is to keep batts from exploding... which safe chem batts can't do anyway. But since they are a hybrid... someone with actual knowledge about all this will hopefully chime in. :)

I got 2 of these in my collection, theyre offered in both a protected and unprotected version of the same cell, probably what youre seeing on that site. Unprotected ones work great here, still get about 5-6 hours out of them though. Yeah, on that site where it lets you choose "type", the choices are flat, button and protected.

Greetings; Yes, that's right, on this web site the flat-top/button-top/protected models are shown on the same page, which can be confusing. I threw that link up there in order to show a picture of the battery.

FWIW I got the button tops when I bought this particular battery, but both button- and flat-tops work equally well in my Vamo.
