Great Accessory for Our GLVs

I just PM'd Griffin and asked about the possibility of designing one of these beauties for GLVs. It was only seconds ago so I haven't heard back from him yet. I'd imagine he'd probably start with full size holster but I'm thinking if there's enough interest, maybe we could convince him to come out with a full line of GLV holsters that accommodate Mini and Super Mini models.

Maybe if a horde of GLV owners post our interest in his thread we could convince him to fast-track a design to accommodate us.

Or am I the only one that thinks this is the greatest thing since the GLV itself?

Neat lookin, but where can you actually walk around with that on and not be asked a million questions about it. It looks like youre walking around at the ready to phazer-ray someone to death.

Good points about "20 questions" and about an SM (or any PV) on a lanyard. Hadn't really thought about others' reactions but then again I never consider that when I vape in public. I'm always happy to explain but hadn't really hadn't considered the phaser perception.

I'm not rude by nature, I just never really cared what others think about how I look or what I'm wearing.

I'm just glad to see that somebody is finally filling the need for those that have been searching high and low for a way to carry a standard sized mod without putting it in their pocket.

The good news for those interested is that Griffin did reply to my PM, said he "DEFINITELY" wants to make one for the full-size GLV but only has a Mini so he needed dimensions. I hooked him up and within the next few days he will be laying out a pattern and stitching it up when he catches up with current orders.

Told him I'd take whatever he comes up with, sight unseen. I'll post pics whenever I get it.

Didn't consider that either but I've never been stopped for vaping while driving or walking in clear sight of passing cops. In either event, I s'pose I'd have to conduct a brief educational seminar politely peppered with plenty of "sirs" or "ma'ams".

The Police where I live had ask what I was using when I got my first mod, but being friends with several of them and them knowing I'm somewhat of a Eccentric Nut expected nothing less. Most people when they fined out what it is whether they smoke or not, know someone who can benefit from one of these and want to know where to get one for themselves or a friend.

As far as the leather case I like the idea and have a friend who does custom leather work and am going to talk to about making me a holster for the custom GLV-2 with wood veneer I have being made right now.

Griffin posted a few more pics here. While it isn't specially designed for a GLV, he now has a style that's compatible.

I'm not going to steal Tim's thunder by re-posting his picture but he's really outdone himself on this one. It's a thing of rugged beauty and even empty, it leaves no doubt that it's been tailor made for a GLV-3.

I received my Griff's Leather GLV-3 holster this afternoon. It's a flawless marriage of form and function.

This thing looks and feels like a military or police grade leather holster. The single piece design is brilliant, the super heavy duty spring clip will securely hold the holster in place, and the cut-outs are perfectly placed and fit the exact geometry of the sidecar.





It's just snug enough to cradle the GLV-3 and it leaves enough of it exposed to pull it out without grabbing the atty/carto.

Unless you carry a purse, if you have a GLV-3 you gotta get one of these puppies!
