About three days ago, I got on the "Notify Me" list for the GG Penelope rba at Clouds of Vapor, and Bruce sent me an e-mail apologizing because he didn't expect the next shipment for 56 months! Well, tonight I got my notification e-mail from COV notifying me that the Penelopes were in and available. As you might imagine, I hot-footed it over there (metaphorically speaking) and immediately ordered one.
About a half-hour after I'd sent in my order (and gotten my e-mail confirmation!), I got to wondering if there were any COV discount codes, and sure enough, I found reference to the "bigbuyer" code good for 10% off all GG products at COV! I sent a hat-in-hand, sheepish e-mail to sales at COV explaining the situation and asking if I was too late to claim the discount. Less than 15 minutes later, I got 2 e-mails from COV ... one from Bruce, the president, saying "It's never too late!", and another one from COV sales informing me that my discount had been refunded to my credit card!
Now THAT'S what I call customer service!! Here's to Clouds of Vapor, you guys ROCK!
