I have been replacing my own cartridge material pretty much since I started vaping. I have found it to be a pain. I did find a much easier way. I bought a bag of "Extra Loft Poly Batting". I got a craft size bag (36"x45"). It's the smallest bag you can get and runs about $10. You will have enough matierial for you and your friends for years to come. This is the batting used for making quilts and such. Instead of coming in a bag as a huge ball of poly-fil it comes in a bag as a roll of flat material. It is standard poly-fil and untreated. I cut a tiny strip to whatever width I need to fill the cartridge (about 5/8 inch for a 510). Then I cut the strip into 1/4 inch pieces. Now I have tons of 5/8 by 1/4 inch strips. Each one of these is perfect to fill a cartridge. No rolling or folding needed, and the wicking is fantastic. This makes for perfect density. If you make your strips too long just trim off the top til it's flush with the cartridge.

So sorry guys. I knew I was forgetting something. Ok, I bought this at JoAnn fabric stores. Here's the thing. It says flame ......ant and also says bonded. The bonded refers to the way the poly is braided together. After extensive research (through Joann and Fairfield who make this product) I have found that the flame ......ant part is simply a normal trait of this polyfil. There is no additive. It is 100% White Ployester Fiber. I have been stuffing my carts with it for weeks with no problems at all. The brand on this bad is "Soft n Cuddly".

Parmacrafter, this is the first idea for fill that I think I will actually try. There is a JaAnn's near me!
Not to sound completly stupid but, if it is only 1/4 in wide, it still fills the sides of the cart? You use a tweezer to tease it in there?

Now I am glad I have been saving my old carts. I knew someone would come up with an easier solution.

The size I gave is is universal to any e-cig. obviously it would have to be a bit larger for e-cigars. Just use tweezers to nudge it into cartridge. Trim off whatever is left hanging out. You don't want to stuff the whole strip if it is too long. This stuff is just the greatest and easiest to work with.
