Great New Idea - Matching traditional Brands with eCigs

Although some electronic cigarettes get great feedback, others get really poor reviews, especially in this forum. I think that choosing an electronic cigarette is very much down to individual taste! Forget about the "what you want from an ecig", lets ask, "what brand did you smoke and what ecig do you prefer?".

I mean if the ecig creates great vapor, then its all down to the flavoring and cartridges. What would be a great idea is a poll to list what traditional cigarette brands esmokers smoked and which ecig is their favourite! Thoughts?

good idea but there is no flavored cigarettes. just chew, pipe tobacco, and cigars. Once you step in the world to vaping theres everything from waffles and bacon to green tea and cinnamon rolls.

When i got more first e=cig over a year ago i had a blu cig with an atty and carts and it made me want to smoke more. then i got the v2 ecig which helped alot. Then i got a joye ego-t With some 50/50 pg/vg Nuport juice (i smoked newports since i was 13) and i quit smoking right then and there when i tried the nuport juice.

...wont work...it just doesn't exactly relate...vaping is just soooooo different from smoking that it is hard to compare the two...as a 3ppd/40yr smoker, I thought I would only be interested in finding a similar tobacco flavor but, I quickly realized I liked some of the sweet/bakery/drink flavors...once you start vaping, it is hard to stop at just one flavor...there are just sooooo many great flavs out there.................

Hey I8smoking, Welcome

It makes sense that ecigs could be marketed in cigarette like packaging. Red for marlboros, "Newparts," Desert ships, etc. And many tobacco flavored juices do exactly this. BUT...

There was a line in "A Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" about the machine made tea tasting "almost exactly but not quite completely unlike tea." That's the way it is with vaping. It will never taste exactly like smoking. Too different. And trying to make it taste like smoke produces some rather unpleasant flavors.

So everyone starts with tobacco flavors because that's what they think they'll like but quickly tries others until they find something they really prefer. Some even stick with tobacco flavors but quickly learn it is not the same as smoking. And I don't think there is much correlation between the brand they previously smoked and whatever vapor flavors they eventually settled on.
