I was flipping channels last night and saw vaping so it got my attention. Turns out it was a story from Geraldo and the guest was someone from High Times magazine talking about pen type vapes for pot use but it started out showing people vaping mods at something that looked like a vape meetup. I get enough strange looks when im using my mod or even my e-go setup and now this. I really hope this wont interfere with acceptance of vaping in public. I dont use anything other than e-juice in any of my stuff as do most of the vapers I come across and the last thing we need is people thinking we are doing dope in public. hopefully Geraldo has a really small viewing audience.
I don't think the guy from High Times or any of his ilk are going to do any damage to vaping in public. I don't think vaping will ever be accepted in public in places cigarettes aren't, and I believe it is going to become more associated with those activities as laws pertaining to ......... are reformed in the US. It's most definitely not the same thing, but it sure can look like it at times.
Tobacco was an addiction for most of us. We didn't defeat it, but we found a better way with e-cigarettes. I can't comment on others' addictions to substances aside from tobacco, but I will pose this question: Is it better to help someone get off of tobacco with a vaporizer, or is it more important that people aren't vaporizing .........?
I'd rather help the person with the ties to tobacco and not really worry too much if something looks similar to it.
