RDA Green discoloration on copper post

Hi there everyone, could anyone tell me what this greenish looking discoloration is on my center post? This is an authentic Kennedy 22mm rda marketed as lead free copper. I can take a small flat head and scrape it off. But this is my first copper center post rda so don't really know if it's lead or something else and whether if it's fine for me just to leave it there. What should I do about it in order to make safe to vape?

It's called "verdigris"... and is easy enough to remove with a tiny bit of baking soda, and a little distilled water. Ketchup works well too.

It's the copper oxidizing, just clean it off and vape on.

And unless you're planning to mount a tiny Gargoyle to your center post... I'd get it out of there.
