Hey so I've had this Kennedy 22mm for a while now and ever since I've had it I have this weird metal taste no matter what I do, I'm actually a Coil Artasian myself so I know what I'm doing when it comes to building and wicking. But it had this problem before with my doge v3 and I noticed that using the Copper center post they give you, gave me a metal taste so I switched it with the SS center post and now the doge is fine, the Kennedy has a Copper center post too, could that be it? It cleaned this thing 10 times with 10 different chemicals too, I don't get it, anyone else have this problem?

Taste is a uniquely personal thing...might be you are just super sensitive to copper....or it may be alloyed with something else you're tasting.
Sometimes certain medications can alter taste as well...

The OP asked for suggestions.
Based on my experience I would check wick and wire first.
The copper post shouldn't matter unless it's overly oxidized.
(If it is, ketchup and a light scrub with an old toothbrush will clean it up).

I pick up on aluminum.
Some can't stand Brass.
