So ive been reading a lot of threads and thoughts on these - speculation, excitment, anticipation, negative/positive thoughts. As with all new or newer product releases we see all ranges of input!

Ive personaly placed a pre-order on a black ipv V2 50W - as i feel the YiHi 330 v2 chip is going to kick .... Considering the firmware will be upgradable, i dont mind purchasing the prerelease first batch of these. Im just hoping all of the hardware on the unit will be up to par. I have some conscerns with the touch print fire lock on the top of the unit failing over time, but over all the product looks sweet!

I chose this pre-order over a Cana Mod purchase, as i feel the Canas still have bugs and it seems they are sorting them out rather quickly. Ill pick one of those bad boys up once things have finally settled in final production phases.

Anyways, just wanted some more thoughts, purchasing links, know about, and speculation or insight on the up and coming Greanleaf/pioneer4you IPV 30/50W units.

Chat, chat - hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July!!

This SX330 chip is NOT upgradeable.

That's the SX350 chip, which is a completely different beast.

I pre-ordered a Blue one from Elev8 to replace the Chana box I'm about to sell when the IPV2 comes in. I have 3 Chana boxes (Cloupor), and 2 of them are from the first 2 version with the buggy wake-from-sleep quirk. I have a v3 Cloupor box (with the revised 510 connection and updated firmware) in Blue that is flawless. The finish is great, and the things just works.

I'm glad that Cloupor finally got it right. I'm selling my first 2 and replacing them with 1 v3 CLoupor box and an IPV2.

Latest talk is that the new IPV's are not going to have a warranty but i don't believe it , thats whats being said on the other 35-50 watt box mods thread.

I keep seeing a full one year warranty , many are getting confused about the chips though , the IPV's use the SX 330 chip not the SX 350 . The SX 350 chip alone retails for around $70.00 and you can buy the entire device (depending on where you order it) for between 80.00 -$100.00 so it makes sense the IPV's come with the cheaper SX 330 chip .

It's an original chip and not a clone and i bet it will be just fine as this manufacturer has some background in making solid mods like the Seven 22 and Seven 30.

If in fact it turns out to not have a warranty associated with it it's a no go for me , the manufacturer warrants it for one year through authorized vendors so check where and what the policy is of where you order it.

I have seen some people order direct through the manufacturer and pick some up real cheap , don't know how they pull it off though lol.

We should move the conversation over to this thread - http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...v-discussion/575643-ipv-35w-50w-box-mods.html

Alot of our questions can be answered over there and there seems to be a lot of people that are interested and subscribed.

@MrPlink - somebody said fire button, somebody said lock button, whatever that means, and I heard at one point that it is being entirely removed. I don't think anybody is completely sure right now.

@herb - your concerns are answered on the other thread. One person ordering direct from manufacturer probably won't be made easy or cheap, group buys are the only way to get a decent deal away from an authorized vendor, which sacrifices the warranty you're concerned about. The manufacturer is gonna take care or their distributors before addressing smaller orders, also the smaller the order the more the price goes up, and the shipping methods used cause one to either wait over a month or pay $30 to get it in a few days at which point it potentially comes out to a higher price than getting it from an authorized dealer in the USA and saves you the headache of working with a Chinese manufacturer.

Yeah i am involved in the other thread as well , thats where this no warranty thing came up. They should be merged but i doubt they will , look at all the Hana clone threads.

To anyone getting ready to start a new thread take a look around there is probably one already discussing what you want to discuss.

I am stepping up from a VAMO V5 and Kanger Mega (1.5 ohm) to a new box mod.
My iPV2 (50 watt) is supposedly on the way. Yahoo. Obsessing and stalking the mailbox.

BTW... I am in communication with two WRAP companies JWRAPS and VAPORSKINZ about a custom wrap for this new iPV2 mod.
They are both working on it. The more inquries direct to them the better. Thanks for shooting them a plea.
