I am new e-cig. smoker. I have just bought the green smoke kit (received on thursday) and unfortunately i am already a bit disappointed as the long battery last only 2hours and the short one 1hour. Is it normal, or are the batteries deficient? how long does the lithium ion battery last for other brands?

If the battery are deficient I will only ask for replacement otherwise I have to change for other long lasting battery product.

thank you in advance for your advise.

Homeish now
I Had a Blu which is basically the same thing, a just different brand name. And ya it would only last a 1-2 hours at most at the beginning..the battery life only seem to get short over time and I only used it for about three weeks. Was not happy with the product at all!

Cant really comment on other ones but my Joye 510..seems more like 2-3 pending how much I use it of course.

My long one lasts about 6- 8 hours. I take about 8 puffs and then put it down. In the beginning I even counted to make sure I was at least getting about 30 cigs. worth per cartridge and I did. A regular cigarrette will burn out and you know you are done, if you just keep vaping you could be getting more nicotine than you use too.

I also noted it takes at least 6 hours to recharge my battery if the light changed to soon, I knew I had not drained it all the way in order for it to charge all the way. Sort of like what people do with new cell phone batteries. Hope this helps.

Green smoke batteries do have a shorter time then the vapor king from v4life

They do take about 4 hours to recharge. That being said , they are a quality product and I like them.

I also have a vapor king pcc that i like very much and the battery life is longer too.

Please dont think blu can compare to these , I sent my blu kit back pronto when I got it.

I also have a 510 Joye kit . Different type, 3 piece. The jury for me is still out on that one,
it has its good and bad points for me.

Greensmokes has good cartos and they can be refilled, however you cannot buy them empty, they are more expensive too.

Value4 life vapor king you can buy empty cartos to fill yourself , or buy prefilled ones too.
they are a little less expensive .

All of this is just my opinion, your milage may vary. Good luck with your vaping:)

GreenSmoke batteries are notoriously short -- that is what is so aggravating about their advertisements. They say they last a DAY for a normal smoker? NO WAY - give them an hour of steady vaping and they go dead. I vape off and on all day - a GS battery might last me we a half day or so...Get a bunch of back up batts...or better yet, bag GS altogether and get a similar Kr808 model at vendors at a third the price...

The only good thing I can say about GreenSmoke is that they offer a full one year guarantee for their batts- and they definately stand behind it. I have been with GS for about 4 mo and have sent in a total of 12 batteries that died and did not last the full year and GS sent me free replacements for all of them.

Thank you so much for your advises. I asked the same question to GS customer service and they harry to replace both batteries. I suppose this means they were not working as they should be.
But based on all information I gathered in this forum (thanks to everyone) I have ordered the V4L kit, and hope won't be as disappointed as I am with the GS. (I will keep you updated)

in addition to the batteries I experienced some burnt carts (5 out of 10), and start to wonder if I am not doing something wrong?

PS: I apologies in advance for my English, not sure to express my ideas the right way.

I would say depends on how often you vape with it.
Pretty much constant vaping on the long battery this Sunday I got about 3 hours or more out of it. Their customer service is great though, should you request a new battery. I have 4 long 2nd generation batteries and they all work like champs. The 2nd generation batteries are better than the 1st IMHO-You can take long slow steady pulls and get a huge amount of vapor, making them feel and perform like a analog. the only obvious difference is the two small holes and slot at the threaded (cartridge end) that the 2nd generation have. I was told they now have a 3rd generation, manufactured in New York, never tried it though...
