I do know of a cheaper UK supplier of the 808 cartos but sadly can't post a link to them here as they aren't an ECF member, even though they have been recently voted on one of the largest UK e-cig forums as e-cig supplier of 2011.

Even if you can't get the cap out of the greensmoke cartos, it shouldn't stop you from refilling them using the condom method.

Kr808d-1 cartomisers don't work with kr808d-2 I don't think, you need an adapter to use d-1's on them. I have utterly no idea if anyone actually has kr808d-2 cartomisers or adapters here in the uk.

Please be patient with a newbie. I purchased two starter kits to start vaping: Green Smoke and V2. I am trying them both out. From what I've read here, are they both KR808?? I can attach the Green Smoke AND the V2 batteries to each kit's USB charger, so to me they appear interchangeable. Sorry it's confusing being new with people referring to their setups as KR808, 510, etc. Is there a place that has a list of name brands and what type they are? Thanks in advance!

KR808D-1 and KR808D-2 are similar but not identical
KR808D-1 is popular (V4L, manufacturer KR808D-1, SmokelessImage, Bloogplanet, Halocigs G6, and I think V2)
KR808D-2 is the incompatible threading (aka E9)
Greensmoke is KR808D-2. Greensmoke cannot use any of the KR808D-1 cartos without an adapter and the only adapters for KR808D-2 are at LeCig.com (the left model listed for an adapter means battery, right is cartomizer so a D2 to D1 adapter lefts Greensmoke use KR808D-1 cartomizers)
So I do not know how the person above me is interchanging stuff between Greensmoke and V2

Doglover, I am really sorry, the cartomisers I linked to from Liberty Flights will not fit your Greensmoke
Yes, I'm sorry you are correct. I thought the V2 charger was from Greensmoke, they look very similar! They cannot be interchanged as I thought.
Ah yeah, sorry I forgot to check back. Usually when a seller marks their cartomisers as 808 or kr808 they mean it's kr808d-1. Greensmoke is kr808d-2, and I have absolutely no idea if anyone sells kr808d-2 in the uk. I've been searching on and off all day but I've not found anyone I can verify as kr808d-2. Normal kr808 cartomisers wont work with the greensmoke batteries, so you'd need an adapter to use anything else with it.
I'd be tempted to get another battery if it's not a priority to stay with greensmoke, but if it is, I can't see anyone else doing the kr808d-2 to kr808d-1 converter piece other than these guys

Right on as always. I've used the Green Smoke batts for several months and they are exactly you as stated -D2's (E9's).
The Green Smoke carto's glue the white mouth piece on. I guess to discourage you from filling your own and buying their expensive pre-filled ones. I used a syringe and filled through the small hole in the top, or used the condom method.
I think the idea of the adaptor is super, giving you the best of both worlds.

thanks leftfeild .. your the biz i really appreciate it ... just that iv got 6 green smoke batteries less than 3 months old costing £ 30.00 each ! thats some dosh so really would of liked to use them

BTW you can get blank KR808D-2 cartos at AZSmokeFree and Vaporkings.com but check the description to see if they say they are softcap.
Yes, you can refill those carts. Use a syringe in the hole or the condom method. I have bought the carts from AZsmokefree and they are the soft (removable) caps.
