I, too, started with Green Smoke. And they DID cut my smoking way down. I did like the flavor, as well. However, the cartomizers do not nearly last as long as they state on the website, and it gets very expensive to replace them.

I quickly moved on to an ego passthrough battery with Boge LR cartos, and DIY e-liquid, which has been what I've been vaping for the last month and a half. I stopped smoking completely with the ego combo.

After tons of research, though, and tons of time here on the forums, I have made a very well-educated decision to go ahead and get the Provari. I will be using the boge 3.0 ohm SR cartos and DC tanks with the Provari, when it arrives today, and I'll continue using the ego combo as a backup.

If price is not an option, then I would highly recommend a big battery, variable voltage mod, like the Buzz Pro, Provari, or VMod XL (box mod). Battery life, vapor production, and flavor are a HUGE considerations; size, asthetics, button placement, and feel are personal preferences. We can not, and should not, tell you what your preferences may be. That is your decision and your decision alone. We can give you our opinions, based on our experiences and our own personal preferences, but it's up to you to use these as a foundation, and decide what would fit your own personal needs and wants.

The important thing to know about Greensmoke, Blu and all the other slick rebrandings of generic models is what they are. Greensmokes are repainted KR808D1s. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, as they and 510s are the two most recommended gateway devices.

My first PV was a GreenSmoke and the D1 cartos I got for it didn't fit. As I came to find out, they are KR808-D2's. (unless they changed the model they are selling in the last year or so)

No, you're right, they're D-2s, the essential difference being threading—and the fact that D-2 cartos are much less universal and harder to find than D-1s, a nasty little stunt these guys pull to keep their customers in their fold.

They can be found, though: Replacement battery compatible with GreenSmoke and KR808D-2 electronic cigarettes

My first kit was GS also, though it did the trick to get me to quit smoking right away, I quickly became less enthused over their price as well as quality. With in 2 weeks I up graded to an eGo and never looked back. IMHO, at the very least I'd send it back for a refund and buy a cheaper 510 or 808 like suggested. It will save you a lot of money and headaches in the long run.
