Hello people of this great community, ive been lurking for a few days trying to decide on what product I wish to buy. I have already bought 2 different e-cigs one of which being the Elite from innovative smoking from a mall kiosk. It was decent by I found I tore through the carts very quickly and they werent cheap. I then ordered another product from one 80 cigs that was less expensive carts were cheaper but it gave weaker vapor production and a very unsatisfying throat hit.

I am interested in a device with refillable carts, I also want something a little more substantial. I am not financially able to go top of the line. I was considering a Kgo with the 1100mah batteries and the clearomizers for easier refilling.

My must have's are a strong battery
Something I can pull long and strong on
Great vapor and TH

Any suggestions to that end are greatly appreciated.

Welcome to ECF!

I haven't personally tried the Kgo system, but it looks like a good set up to me. I am sure you will get a lot of views on this.

I am still a noob and purchased my first starter kit this past Saturday. It's a Ego system with dual coil cartomizer. I got one 900mAH batt and another 650mAH batt to start with and 3 carts. I am satisfied with this set up so far. The batt lasts me at least 6 hours and I always have the other one charged and ready to go.

I like the size cart too. It holds about 4.5ml of liquid and lasts me much of the day. I do sometimes add a few drops mid day just so I don't think I have enough in there and really don't. That's just me being new to this and I don't want to burn up one of my carts too early.

I don't think you can go wrong with either one.

The KGO is a good system. I'm a newb too, but I've had mine a little over 2 weeks and it's great. Battery lasts all day.

The vapor and TH you get will depend more on the juice and cartomizer you use than it will on the battery. Now, to be sure, a tired battery at the end of a day on a PV that doesn't regulate power the way a Provari or some other variable voltage PVs do will give less vapor and TH than it did when it was fresh off the charger in the morning. But I've got some juices that produce great vapor and TH at the end of the day on a tired battery, and others that don't give much of either even on a fresh battery.

I bought my KGO from DarkCityVapor.com. Bill Cordell is a great guy to deal with, his prices are as cheap as anyone else's and everything I've bought from him has been shipped the same day.

HoosierEcigSupply.com also sells them, as does Sweet-Vapes.com. Each kit is configured a little differently. Be advised that the cartomizers that usually come with the kits are terrible. So spend a few more $$ and buy some Smok-Tech XL 1.7ohm or Boge 2.0ohm cartomizers. Trust me on that one. You should also buy at least 1 (and preferably 2) atomizer for testing juices. Once you fill a cartomizer with one juice, you don't want to mix another juice in with it - the results are unpredictable at best.

Check out the volt x2 from smokeless image. It's similar to the kgo, has an incredible battery life and SI customer service is second to none. For juice, check out Vapedudes.com. Their juice is awesome and they have good promos, including one for a free bottle with the code fbfree. They only give out 15 free bottles a day, so if it doesn't work, try again the next day

Thank you Jason for the kind words and advice. Pappy, I was actually looking to get the KGO from Sweet vapor but ill look into darkcityvapor as well. So far I am think the KGO kit from sweet vapor and 2 - 2.0 ohm cartomizers and a stainless stain drip tip. As far as juice any advice? I wasnt impressed with sweet vapors juice choices even though I usually stick to tobacco blends. I was browsing gourmet vapor as I mentioned in my 2nd post, anyone have experience with them?

Dude, I'm glad you mentioned a drip tip. I forgot about the drip tip. You don't HAVE to have it, but you will WANT to have it.

On juices, that's a hard one because everyone's taste varies so much. There is a juice forum here with a lot of good info in it, and this New Member forum has a "what are you vaping" thread, which is also good.

I've found I don't care much for tobacco flavors (at least the ones I've tried). I do, however, LOVE the Ruyan 4 from ECBlends (just re-ordered a BIG bottle from them a couple days ago). But it doesn't taste like tobacco to me. In fact, it doesn't have a lot of taste to me. But it has a great throat hit without being harsh or scratchy (at 18mg nic) and produces a lot of vapor (at 50/50 PG/VG mix). Your mileage may vary.

I have been hearing an 80/20 mix is the way to go on pg/vg ratio. I really have no idea. I probably would like a lot of varied flavors should I have the privilege of trying them. Perhaps I should just order 5 or so 5ml bottles of different flavors to find my "sweet spot" Trial and error and all that. Its hard to ask other what they like... because taste is so very individualized.

Pg will give more flavor and throat hit, vg will give vapor. Personally, I like 70%pg, 30% vg. Remember, the more vg, the thicker the juice, the harder it is on your cartomizers.

The only reason i use 70/30 instead of 80/20 is because that's what most places sell without custom
