Lurked around here for long enough and thought I'd say hello.

Completely stopped smoking back in Jan. of '12. Over the course of a couple of months, I used a cig-a-like to get down to about 3 analogs a day but couldn't get enough out of them. Went to a eGo battery and MT3 and the last analog was the day my nephew was born. A few months later, got my wife to start using the same setup but it took her much longer to break those last couple of analogs with her morning coffee. She finally stopped last year. Also got my daughter to stop smoking last year through vaping.

The thought of saving $$ was nice until it turned into a hobby! Now the wife has two SXmini's, I've got a few different DNA40's and a 350J Boxer.

Stories like this is why vaping is so important and at the same time so annoying they are trying to take it away from us. Well done to you and your family and welcome to ECF :thumb:

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

I want to thank ECF and all of you in the community - without everything I learned while snooping the forums back when I started to what I continue to learn from everyone today, it would've been a lot harder (failed to quit twice in the past!) to have made it at all as well as continue, especially for the wife. I don't give smoking a coffin nail a second thought today, but she still wants one every. single. day. Being able to keep up date on devices, juice - crafted and DIY recipes, types of wire, and the ever increasing list of tanks, has been very beneficial to keeping a satisfying vape going for her. So, thanks gang!!

Amen, Brother. Welcome to ECF. I rolled my own smokes before I quit. I could have smoked for a year on what I've spent "saving money" vaping. But I'm happy with my setup I have now. I've started making my own coils and soon my own e-liquid, so hopefully I can rein it in. Enjoy the forum.
