Hi,
I'm a relatively new vaper (approx. 3 months) and proud to say that I've been smoke free that entire time, other than a few drinking occasions with buddies.
I started out trying Breathe Fresh pre-filled for a few weeks, but I was going through at least 2 cartomizers a day, and the batteries started dying on me after 2-3 hours. Was not really happy but I liked the idea of e-cigs, liked how my wife and kids were happy with me being healthier so I kept looking.
After a lot of reading and some advice from Cropduster901 I decided to try the Echo. Very happy with it overall. The battery is awesome, I have two kits so I've always got two on the charger at a time.
For e-liquids I've tried a few different sites though I won't really review any today other than to say pretty much everything I've tried from Virgin Vapor has been awesome. Very happy with all 12 or so flavors I've tried so far from her.
So... on to my questions for the vets!
1- Cleaning Echo carto's: I've been boiling them for 15 min with water and vinegar then another 15 with just water after rinsing them out. I've let them sit for 2-3 days upright so they can drain, but I don't think they are draining, because when I fill them with juice again, I have to seriously hoover them for 10 minutes or so with no vapor, and once the carto heats up I can blow out more water. Does anyone have a better way of cleaning/drying the Echo Carto's? The ones that I want to clean aren't empty, they are ones that I've filled with juice that I'm not at all happy with and won't be vaping.
2 - Looking for a good 510 battery recommendation. For the road I'd like one that's a bit smaller than the Echo I can take with me.
3 - Echo battery timing out. I have some lower MG juice, and tend to take long draws when vaping them, I find after about 5 seconds or so the led starts to flash and the battery cuts out. Is that normal for the Echo? Would I have better control if I went to a manual battery?
4 - I'm looking to try the Torpedo Tanks and the Colossal Dual Coils. I really like the idea of being able to see how full my carto is. Anyone try them?
5 - Syringe method of filling. Where the heck do I get 18 gauge needles from? I don't think the pharmacy stocks them, and don't think it would be easy to explain why I want one even if they did.
Think that's all my questions for the moment, I appreciate in advance any help!
