Hi everyone, I'm ary from indonesia

After 16 years of smoking cigarettes, finally I decided to quit, and I just started vaping 2 weeks ago..

I barely know a thing or two about this vaping world..so, it seems that I'm going to ask loads of quetions here..hope I can learn from you guys..

First, have you got any suggestions about coilling?
Currently I'm using charon adjustable mod, geek avocado rdta. What do you think is the best coil for this set up?

Hi Welcome to ECF, your English seems fine to me Congrats on wanting to switch to vaping. As far as type of coil, that does depend on a lot of things. Do you want more flavor, more or less clouds? Would you like to use temp control (that would mean no kanthal wire) etc.? It's hard to answer without knowing what you like as a vape. I'd say starting with a simple build might be best, and figuring out what target resistance you want (steam-engine.org is useful for this) and then going from there. No need to get super fancy in the beginning....

If you are new to RTAs perhaps a visit to this forum might be helpful to get you started, especially the coil building forum: Rebuildable Atomizer Systems

Welcome and keep asking questions until you feel you completely understand...

Thanks a lot..

For me, as an ex-cigar smoker, cloud isn't really an issue..i prefer the flavour tho..

maybe i concern the safety..because here in my country some people keep saying if we use wrong coil, battery or even mod setting, it can make our mod explode..

I started using simple coil, kanthal a1 btw..

Well I don't have an Avocado, do have a Charon Adjustable. I prefer ss 316l clapton coils. I order them prebuilt and spooled from AVS, Advanced Vape Supply. I also enjoy twisted wire coils. Twist some of your wire and try it.

And just found that a simple either kanthal 24 or nichrome 24 just fine..got the flavour..

Since in my country it's not common yet to vape, (i guess it started around 4/5 years ago here) so I found it hard to get other than kanthal or nichrome wire..

Two coils is usually used in DL /sub ohm'g. Most high resistance wire material (Nichrome as an example) around 24 ga - up should do the job in the watts/volts mode.
