Hey there ECF :)

Having been a mere observer of this forum for 3 months now, so I hereby pay my respects to the allmighty ECF community so I can start posting as well.

I have been vaping for a bit more than 3 months now and I devotedly follow another spanish speaking forum where I am a regular poster. Both this forum and the spanish one have played a major role in helping me break my tobacco addiction.

I like to think I am bilingual (well actually trilingual since I also speak a third language), and I'm looking forward sharing my experiences and keep in touch with what I believe is the biggest e-cig community.

As for my PV's I have an eGo , and I vape at 6mg/ml DIY liquid. I vape mostly VG as I suspect I have some degree of "sensitivity" to PG (I don't dare to call it an allergy just yet). I mostly enjoy RY4 and 555 flavouring and now and again I switch to sweeter stuff (fruit and candy aromas mostly).

Welcome! Glad you're enjoying your eGo. I'm curious, what is it like to be a vaper in Spain? Are there any smoking or vaping bans in your country? I live in New York, and it seems our state wants to ban the sale of ecigs. When I go out and vape in public most people still think I'm smoking. I'm just so happy that I was able to quit, haven't had an analog since May of last year, something I never thought I'd be able to do since I had tried to quit many times before. I love all the different flavors, fruity flavors and some tobacco flavors too, it's great that there is so much variety of flavors to choose.

Thank you birdofparadise. I'm enjoying my eGo ever since I bought it and I haven't looked back. Best money invested in a gadget ever.

As for the bans for e-cigs... so far spanish law has a loophole AFAIK which catalogues e-liquids as "general (drug) substances"... which pretty much means that they know they have nicotine and they seem to be cool with it... for now.

There's the usual FUD in the media, missinformation about the "damages" and how "unknown" is the contents of those pesky liquids from China.

Most of the controversy is whether or not it can be considered a medicine product or not. Frankly, I coudln't care less if they declare it a medicine or not, but I'd very much like that the goverment took a stance on whether it's cool to vape or not. So far it is...

As a personal experience as a vaper in spain, I'd say the hardest thing is to import nicotine across the customs. But there are ways around it thanks to the numerous EU online shops (at a price though).

I've read about what they want to do in New York yes, but I thought they were banned already in NY?

Glad to hear you have quit as well. Brewing and mixing my own juice in my opinion has been important for this thrill of sampling new flavours. Also looking forward for the next mod / nicer cart / newest atty makes me forget completely about cigarettes .

Vaping is so much better and personal :D
