Hey folks,

I've been lurking for a while and been off analog for almost a week now. I started with the Blu kit , fully realizing that I would be on to bigger and better eventually. Well.... it's eventually!:)

I'm looking to upgrade. I plan on getting something like the Joye Ego - T for around the house and will do more research and such at that time.

Right now, I'm looking for a kit. Discreet, roughly same size (cigarette size) or maybe slightly larger than the BLU, for on the go vaping. I'm looking for a kit that...

  • Has a longer battery life, better or more efficient cartomizer (or clearo, atty, etc).
  • Is easy to fill or refill.
  • Is compatible with many accessories.
  • Has at least two batts, charger,(carts/clear/atty)and preferably a PCC.

Bonus cool points :toast: for any compatibility with any part of the BLU system.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations,

Happy vaping

blu uses two thread types, so its tricky to tell which threading type you have, are your threads coming from your battery or cartomizers?

as far as general upgrading, if you are looking at the eGo T, you might want to look at the twist over at vapors-choice, as they simply have the best prices on the twist, and any order you make you can get five free juice sample bottles, in addition to the juice you get from a kit

If you must have a cig look alike type device, I highly recommend the Volt for longevity in battery life. As far as all day battery life and using advanced items on it, you are better off with an EGO type device. Sounds like elmattias had a good website for you as there are tons of vendors selling them but never heard of 5 free juice samples to go along with it :)

Have you checked out smokeless image? They have 78mm batteries @ 3.6 volts, 280 mah. They have lots of colors, PCCs, accessories etc. I used a couple of their bats with the nano clearomizers they have for my first month or so of vaping. They are 808 threaded so not compatible with your current gear though.

With that said, once you try out something larger like an ego style battery with something like a stardust or mini nova, you'll likely never look back at your smaller batteries. IMO, at this time, there's just no way to get a low cost, low maintenance, high quality vape from the analog equivalent styles.

Hiya,
Going by your list you can kill two birds with one stone with Smokeless Image Volts and X2s. The Volts are ciggish size and you can get a PCC. At least one of their starter kits includes a PCC. The 78mm Volts are 320mah - which is about 3 hours of vaping. They are regulated at 3.7 volts.

For an Ego size battery they also sell three larger batteries - 650, 900, or 1300 mah. 100 mah = approx 1 hour of vaping. So these range from approx 9 hours to 13 hours of vaping. These are also regulated at 3.7 volts so are higher than standard Ego batteries which are at 3.3-3.4 volts. So you could have the cig sizes with the PCC, and a larger Ego size as well.

Here's the site if you're interested:
Smokeless Image | Only The Best Electronic Cigarette | Smokeless Image Electronic Cigarettes - The Future is in your hands

There's a 10% discount code as well, 10VOLTECF for 10% off entire purchase.

Blu are 510 threaded I believe, and Smokelss Image are 808 - so not compatible.

Ive been been where you are and have to agree with Snowbody trying to hang on to the blu may not be your best choice. once you try something like an ego twist with a ce4 you'll never be happy with your Blu any way. for home or the next step up you can't beat an Ego twist with a rebuild-able clearo-mizer. Just try to buy a good one from a reputable supplier there are tons of knock offs. Goodprophets.com has a 1100 Mah Twist kit w/ regular clearo and charger for like 30 bucks. If you have to have the cig size for work the E roll with personal charging case works great because unless you chain vape the other battery is recharged before you need to switch them. GP sells a kit with the an extra cart so you have two complete PVs for all day vaping. Good luck on your search!

I just passed this info to a co-worker. Check out the eGo kits(I think these come with 2 batteries) for under $40 with coupon code. Might be worth reconsidering your 'upgrade' time table. The first time I saw an ego 650mAh, it was much smaller than I thought it would be.

I find it hard to guess the size of these things. Search youtube, and you'll find a video with someone holding it, to better gauge the size.
