WV & PV,
Glad your "discussion" came to a friendly end. Now how about some man hugs? :D

Anonomo,
Thanks for the clarification.

As an impulse, I went ahead and bought some items from totallywicked-elquid.com, the Titan TECC(which I know is also the 510) and some various liquids.

My previous purchase from dietSmokes.com was the M401(I mistakenly called it the 510) and some pre-filled cartridges.

I also ordered some liquids from eSmokershop.com.

I'll be sure to post a review in the appropriate sections of the forum.

So far, I've found that dietSMOKES.com sends out a megaton of notifications(which I appreciate, and assume are automated), it's notified me that the item has been shipped. So I'm really looking forward to it.

Totallywicked-eliquid.com has also been very forthright about auto notifications. The items from them are also shipped status-wise.

So far, I've only gotten one notification from eSmokershop.com and it's the purchase order. I'm not going to jump the gun and start worrying. Heck, I'm guessing most of the suppliers here are one-man operations so I can understand a little wait time. I'm not in a rush for just the liquids either. I'm more eager to get started with either of the orders from dietsmokes & totallywicked.

I'm not sure what model e-cig they are. The company is a multilevel marketing company.

Also, on the website it says that the "charger box" is only good for six charges. After that you buy another box for $10.

I made the same observation, that basically they are a marketing company and it looks like they are advertising to sell their items in patchs(for redistribution). Their prices are quite below market but I'm guessing it's either off set from wholesaling or other methods.

I would try them but I just made some impulse buys and I need to get those taken care of first. I did not however, pick up on the "limited" charging available on the box. That's kind of disappointing but I'm guessing that's also an offset due to their prices.

I'm rather curious what model of e-cigs they are using as well.

As for the Reno,NV e-cig company I previously mentioned, I believe it was Crown7. After reading all the comments aimed towards them, I'm certainly steering clear from their products.

I heard about e-cigs only just today... from a dear friend who is working for the company selling Blu. I ordered the starter set and assume it will get here sometime next week. Then I started searching the web and stumbled across this forum :D

What I got from her, that isn't clear on the website, is about the "pack."

Yes, it's good for 6 charges... but that's on the go. You can then plug it into the wall or USB to charge the PACK, which is then good to charge your e-cig batteries 6 more times.

A lot of people in her office smoke, and they all got promo sets. She's a pretty heavy smoker, and is really impressed with the product. I've been thinking about quitting, because let's face it... smoking is bad, m'kay? But this seems like a fantastic alternative without all the health risks.

I'll be sure to let you know how it goes! Pack a day smoker for 25 years... I'm looking forward to this new concept!

blucigs.com looks amazing. I have never heard of them, but having the cig come in the charger case, providing 25 cartridges that you can mix and match, offering free shipping, a 30 day return policy, five day guaranteed shipping, etc. make this site really intriguing. Has anyone heard of this company? I really wish I had some money to spend.

Sounds too good to be true.

I would not swear to it but it looks like a DS103. If this is the case then the batteries are a good deal as they should fit the RN4081 as well. The claim that a cartridge equals 15 ciggs would point to a bigger cartridge then a 103 or 4081 as my experience tells me they equal abot 3-5 ciggs. The charger kit looks good to and it says all shipping in the US is free. If it is a 103 you would need a charger pack with only two batteries but with more(if it holds more), a heavy smoker with three battteries could last a whole day. I will keep a look out for someone that gets one so I will know if I can use their parts for my 4081.

Please do report back on this. I'm looking forward to a review of their products. The prices seem too good to be true and at this point I'm more concerned about their quality. But since no one here has tested their products, I guess it's better to way and see. I'd give'em a shot but I've already made my orders with a few of the suppliers here on the forum.

Good, I feel better, also! I have a feeling that you will at some point try one of the PV's that I like. If you do, let me know what you think, either pro or con.

wv:)

Funny you should say that, I've been talking with the wife about branching out into the other e-cig world. I will stand by my statements that the SD and mods are just not my thing, but I am thinking about a 901 or an e-pipe of some sort. Its a money issue at this point, just can keep dumping money into stuff to try. But eventually, yes, I think you are right!
My best,
-VP

I haven't tried the Dura-C or 510, which are manuals that are more "analog" in look, but they do have a strong following here on the forum.

It's funny you say that... I've been lamenting about the DSE-601E E-pipe.

User:asidrave did a recent video review of it, and the startled look of satisfaction on his face from his first puff was kind of a good indicator in my book.

hugh-hefner-jung.jpg

I'll have to admit though, that the product appeals to me mostly due to it's aesthetics. Someone needs to bring back the whole pipe look. As far as all the reviews I've read about the item, it seems to be rather practical.

  • good throat hit
  • long battery life
  • larger cartridge capacity
The only drawback I can see thus far is price.

There's also the matter of a few knockoffs of that product. Apparently someone had the misfortune of getting a knockoff and the thing literally fell apart piece by piece.

Ruyandirect has two e-pipes:
(1) DSE-601E - $62.00 [Eastmall.net has it for $75.00]
(2) The Ruyan pipe - their ebony version looks especially pleasing but no way in hell I'm paying $259.00 + tax & shipping.

Can't wait to get my hands on it! I did my homework before I ordered and this one seems to get rave reviews. Also want to say the service and help from smilin' Steve is top notch! I hope to quit analogs!

Hi Secretsquirrl,so have you made the transition from anologs to esmokes? What kind of ecig are you using? Still smoking my real ciggys untill my VK arrives! How long have you been using ecigs? Well, thanks for the welcome aboard and will chat again with you.

I'm actually on the patch, have been for close to a week now. After the initial 48 hrs, I really started to lose the urge to smoke. I cheated in the beginning but the last time I tried to smoke an analog, I actually felt real sick. After 72 hrs, I felt light headed(still do actually) and real fatigued. I'm guessing it's my brain getting used to the fact that I'm not smoking. The patches seem to really work because I don't feel any nicotine withdrawals only I'm suffering heavily from oral fixations(I used to smoke in front of the computer, driving, after meals, etc...). The only thing that's stopping me is the reminder that the last analog I had tasted god awful.

I haven't vaped yet, waiting on my orders from both dietsmokes.com & totallywicked-eliquid.com order different models and various liquids from both companies as well as an order of liquids from esmokershop.com on the same day(2 days ago).

From the reviews I gathered that the 510s' & 401s' were okay for someone starting and seeking something similar to an analog. So I went with those.

Depending on my experience with vaping, I may consider getting an e-pipe. It looks so cash. lol. :D Maybe get myself a velvet robe and walk around like Hugh Heifner.

Hi secretsquirrl,so you are also waiting for eciggs to be delivered, how long have you been on the patch? I have the commit lozenges, just got them today. I am on my second lozenge right now, they take about 45 minutes to dissolve. But I am still smoking analogs, but not as many today. My thoughts are to up my chances of quitting by using both eciggs in conjunction with the commit lozenges.

I tried lozenges many moons ago, something about the taste really put me off to them. I heard they've improved though.

I'm not sure how the lozenges work exactly but the patches "supposedly" work to provide a constant stream of nicotine. I'm on the 21 mg, but I have a feeling I could probably step it down to 11mg or 5mg at this point. I no longer feel any cravings for nicotine but the oral fixations are still there.

I had a few "cheat" cigarettes when I began this quitting process and have noticed that the last time I tried to smoke a cigarette it felt almost as if I was having a nicotine overdose. So be careful with the lozenges + smoking.

Personally, I'm hoping that the e-cigs will ease my oral fixation. I can do with vaping on some non-nicotine flavors and eventually give it all up. But for the initial phase, I'm planning to stop using the patch if I use the e-cig. I worry a lot about nicotine overdoes, maybe I'm just being paranoid.

I was hoping that my orders will come in tomorrow but so far USPS tracking isn't indicating much activity. Maybe they'll arrive Saturday or possibly Monday.

Hey Squirrl and everyone else wondering about blu e-cigs. Im new to e smoking aswell and am starting off with the blu pack. Had it for about 3 days now and im loving it. But there is another thread if you want updates and stuff about it.

Just search blucigs and go to the thread that says... (New here, Anyone heard of "Blu" E-Cigs?) *can't post links yet :p

Txsroost should be doing a review on it soon. He's just giving it a week to test it out and such. :)
