Thanks to ECF for their commitment to the PV movement.

After more then 30 years of combustive consumption I have seemingly freed myself from the corruptive clutches of the demon weed tobacco.

I read all I could, (and let me tell you theres a ton of reading here) picked up a 510 set locally, and put away my pack and a half a day habit.

Now It's only been a week. But seeing that the longest I have ever quit before was about 30 hours, a week with absolutely no craving is quite a wonderment to me.

I have 4/5ths of a cig sitting in an ashtray here on the desk. I lit it while hooking up the PT that I bought along with the set. It went out on its own and stayed that way.

I feel better already. I can feel the absence of the CO in my blood. I feel like I have a bit more energy and that can only get better.

Of course now the goal is to get the wife hooked. Remove the stinky ashtrays and so forth from the house. She smokes menthol (think Kool) so I am looking for samples of Menthol flavors for her. I'm of course looking at all the mods and nifty vapor delivery gadgets I fear I wont save much money. But thats a story for another time.

Hi Wylde and welcome. You are right, it only gets better. Been nearly 4 weeks for me and I to am in amazement that I no longer need to light up. Keep working on your wife, but I know that frustration at trying to get a loved on to make the switch.. I'm working on my father. I guess we're just the lucky ones who take to it immediately... I wonder why that is? hmmm
anyway good luck to you

Greetings, salutations and congratulations on your first week. Being that you are from the "back woods" I thought it would be a natural to link you to an e-liquid supplier of a similar genre...

DK is recovering from a minor surgery but I bet he's already mixing up a storm. "Malty" is to die for as is the "Honey Flue Cured", JMHO, natch. =)

Howdy IM, Congrats on the switch and good luck with convincing the wife.
Sounds like you're a country boy (backwoods). I'm nestled in a little thicket here myself. The only problem with my neck-o-the woods is that I'm 2 miles due west of Michigan International Speedway and there's a NASCAR race this weekend. The woods is less quiet than it normally is. Only about a quarter of a million people converge on this area for one of them hootenannies. Fun.
Oh well. Good luck again. Good health and ask anything you want to know about all this. Somebody around here is bound to have some kind of answer.
