Gross after taste

So I have tried to refill my cartomizers from blu with aroma e-juice and get this disgusting after taste. I just bought another e-juice from johnson's creek, and again gross after taste. Am I just darned to never refilling and thus never saving money or what?

Try a better vendor. KickBassVapor, BackWoodsBrew, QuicknicJuice, AlienVisionEjuice, VermillionRivers, JooglersJuice. I have had none of the nasty aftertaste with these vendors.

Also make sure you fill the cartos completely first time. Fill until they drip juice, then blow out the center hole.

Did you refill it with a different flavor juice? If you did, it may be the left over flavor interacting with the new flavor. A good cleaning can usually eject most flavors from a cartomizer with a washing and there are numerous ways to accomplish that. I'm fond of hot water in a hypersonic cleaner but a hot water bath, followed by blowing out the excess water and letting it dry can work well. And as we say in my house...
