ok so Ive been vaping since I got my V4L stuff yesterday morning... I was curious how my newport cigs tasted now... I took one out of my pack... stared at it a while.... then lit it and took a drag... wierd! then I took one more... GROSS GAG UGH!!! BLA!!! POO!!!! How the heck did I smoke those for 5 years???? now I feel dirty.... Im gonna puff on my vanilla cartos thank you...

The biggest thing Im getting out of this is the fact I wont smell anymore. I was so self conscious coming in from a cig break at school and stinking up the classroom, or having to sit in a lecture room very close to people and thinking wow they must think I smell so bad... I felt like a lower person. The best part is I can hang out with my family without worrying to sneak off for a cig and worry about them smelling it and getting upset. This is working better than I could of imagined.

Funny the same thing just happened to me.

Anyway I am now 8 days w/o smoking and feel great. I had a beer and sooooo wanted to have a cigarette. I had one left in the pack and tried to smoke it. Two drags!!!! Tasted like I was licking an ash tray...

I hear that. I have been vapen for over 2 months now and my girlfriend still smokes. and after she has a cig and kisses me Ack!! but I love her so I deal with it. I have tried to get her to vape but she cant seem to do it. as soon as she takes a drag she starts coughing really bad, she has a slight bit of asthma. she is a trooper though. she has tried 24Mg-12Mg juice and all kinds of flavors but still cant do it.

Another strange thing after you quit smoking ...
having someone ask you for a light, and realizing that you DON'T HAVE a cigarette lighter. At first, walking around without the tools of the trade (pack of smokes & lighter) made me feel naked. Then, when someone innocently asked me for a light, it just struck home again, "I'm not carrying a lighter!". BTW, I smoked for over 35 years. Smokes & a lighter were part of ME (that's how it felt, anyway, part of my identity).

And, oh, yeah ... I did the after quitting attempts at smoking a cigarette too, with the same results most of you had <ewwww>

I tried to have a cigarette about two weeks into vaping and had the same results. I lasted two, maybe three drags before I had to get rid of it.

The strange thing is that when I came back to cigarettes after previous failed attempts to quit, I loved the taste. Now it actually does taste like an old ashtray smells.

i had my first analog a few days ago, i was getting a tattoo, and we were taking a break half way through, so i bummed a real smoke.... the nic rush was second to none, but the thing was disgusting, and most of the time when im at work, i can't stand people that walk past me after smoking.. i always think to myself "is that what i used to smell like?" its nice, and my mom doesnt complain all the time about the smell any more

man I just gotta say this stuff is so great! Ive been trying the different flavors I got and they are tasty! And people say that juicing yourself is even better! I wanna run around and save all the smokers! there is a better way! Just very happy

Same situation here! And my GF is a very light smoker, she has maybe 1-3 a night and that's it. I smoked a pack a day and quit the analogs the day I got my first e-cig, but I still can't get her to convert.
