I have noticed this too, carts being inconsistant in build. Some have less padding where the center tube sticks above it, some have the heating element sticking out a bit so it's closer to the outer casing etc.

I just washed out 10 cartos in boiling water, out of 5 filled exactly the same way with the same amount of Menthol liquid, 2 of them work perfectly on the standard size batteries, as in lots of vapor, good throat hit, with little effort. The other 3 however, no matter how tight or loose I put them on, barely make much vapor at all, even on a PT, and seem a little harder to draw.

Maybe these "premium" cartos they are getting in have been made better by a better company, might have to buy a couple packs on next order.

The PT does burn carts up faster due to the fact it's just much more powerful.

While I don't know if there is any accuracy to this? I think my auto batteries also eat carts faster than manuals. If there is any truth to it, I think it's because they're just instantly on longer because I don't have to hold my finger on them and can puff away without interrupting what I'm doing. I think it's really just how I vape with them versus the actual battery design.

As far as feeling sick, what were your smoking habits before switching to vaping? The only time I've felt sick from vaping is when I was vaping too high of a nicotine strength. You may want to adjust.

I tend to disagree as HV devices allow you to take quicker hits....more like a cigarette therefore your carts get less hot and last longer. On a auto or manual battery the suggestion is "longggggggg, slowwwwwwww drags. " And you have to follow those suggestions to get vapor and throat hit. Or some use a primer puff but again this does the same thing....you are warming up your cart so that you can get that one good hit. This prolongs the heat generated in the cartomizer resulting in more juice being used. Or you can just screw a carto into a HV Mod, take a 2 second drag and be on your merry way.

As to the ops post all juices are different in thickness due to flavorings. Some vape well and some dont on a stock battery. If you think you have a difficult carto i would suggest putting it on a PT and i would be willing to bet that it will vape better.
