Grr, what's with the Nova heads?

So I bought a Vivi Nova about a month ago, and now a Mini, from a different vendor.

In both cases, the heads they came with are way off the listed resistance. Instead of 1.8, 2.4, and 2.8, I got 2.4, 3.3, and 3.5 ohm.

In other words, one out of the three heads are usable on an unregulated PV

Is that normal? Do you guys happen to know a place to buy Vivi heads with somewhat reliable resistance? I've tried rebuilding them, but the results were not pretty, so no rebuilding them for me

I had the same problem...a mini and a regular both from different vendors and all but one of the six heads metered out at 2.9 ohms...the other one was 2.7. I wouldn't have really cared too much but they preformed pretty awful on top of being flat out wrong. I really wanted to like the nova because of the simplicity but gave up on it.

I'm done with mine. Done, done, and done. It's outta my arsenal, and not soon enough. It's done nothing more than piss me off.
