I have been relentlessly trying to get that signature thing that says how long ive been off cigs, and how much money ive saved...but every time I try, I just get a message that says invalid file....i have know idea what i'm doing wrong, and ive asked numerous people on here as well as read the faqs. If you know how to do it, please post detailed instructions. I really need this spoonfed...so act like you are explaining it to a five year old. I seriously have no clue what im doing wrong.

Hi Robin,
If you click on my banner (or another version of it you like from someone else's signature) you'll be taken to a site where you can input your quit date, how much you smoked per day, the cost of your cigarettes etc. After you do that, click "create banner." It should give you a code that you can then copy and paste into your signature. You'll find that in "settings" > "edit signature." Then save it and it should show up in your posts and your profile.

Edit: Which banner are you trying to use? It might be a bad code? If its not working for you try mine just to troubleshoot and make sure you can get one working (even if it's not the one you ultimately want to use).

Top right of forum, click on SETTINGS. In you settings click on EDIT SIGNATURE.

Most (all?) of the sig generators will produce code for you to copy/paste into the sig line. It will look like

a href='http://vapor4life.go2jump.org/aff_c?offer_id=2&aff_id=1413' target='_blank'><img src='http://vapor4life.SlaveToTheMachine.net/Vape4LifeSig_2689.jpg' alt='Vape4Life Sig' title='Vape4Life Sig' /></a

But starts with an < and ends with an > (or be similar, may be wrapped in tags) I see you're using your pho...blems? What generator are you trying to use?
