I cant get the tube off my vision to give it a proper clean :'( my boyfriend even tried and nothing!!! -cries in the corner- i have to be at dinner with his mother soon (who makes it quite clear i'm her least favorite person) and i cant clean my only juice hog piece (as the ce2s seem to give me that 'too-much-drying-paint-not-enough-ventilation headache') my attys hardly touch juice.
I NEED NICOTINE!

screw on old battery, GENTLY wiggle back and forth while pulling upward. pull harder if nessisary. if it breaks, oh well, it's no good to you like it is right now anyway.

so gently rinse, let sit for an hour or two then dry burn and slide the tube back on or the other way around?

thatll work but I pat down the wic with a napkin before letting it sit. I've flashed them with a lighter before but it's risky.

I skip the letting stuff sit step. The dry burn will dry it out.

If this is a clearomizer I'd turn the tube around to put the uncracked end toward the battery. if it's not, then never mind!

I'm sorry, you've lost me. theres no cracks in my tube, i just dont know whether most people do the dry burn with the tube on or off. perks of being a newbie, every little thing confuses you

Dry burn with the tube off then put it back together while it's attached to the battery. If you have a dead battery lying around, dry burn on a good battery, remove and attach it to a dead battery and put it back together. I've actually pushed the center of the Vision out while putting it back together when it wasn't attached to a bat.

now i feel like i've done something really really wrong. I had given the vision just a quick water rinse to get the rest of the juice out before i took it apart, then rinsed it under medium warm water (mostly the wicks) till they looked clean. laid it down gently on paper towel and then gently patted the wicks when i saw that comment. waited a little bit (prolly 30 hour from the rinse) and stuck it back on my Silver Bullet. 4 secs on, 5 off; repeat. i stopped at rep 4 or 5 because i hadnt been getting much vapor from the start of the dry burn.
what did i do wrong?

nothing it's clean. slap it back together and fill. put a couple drops on the coil and you're good to go.

filled, slapped 2 drops on the coil, slapped on the 2 seals, less vapor than before i cleaned it, no flavor

I used to get those headaches and finally found out it was the VG so I don't vape above 20% VG and they don't happen any more.

its not vg. i've always vaped 30%, and i dont get the headache with the visions either

noticed the seals werent sitting properly so took them back out.... the post was somehow bent, or crooked, even though it wasnt knocked in any way when the tube came off or went back on, and i didnt touch the post while i washed it out, just held the bottom lightly and let the water wash the wicks and the coil clean. i was extremely careful when i laid it down too...and nothing. I'll be really sad if i cant use either of gvs products.... especially as i liked the vision so much

The center post will move around (its not glued or permanently stuck anywhere). There is nothing wrong or anything, when you put the cup seal back on you just have to lineup and adjust things so that it all sits back together properly.

i did that... still not getting much flavor or vapor.... and the juice has been sitting in here for over an hour now

It may be the wick was still a little wet and your juice is a little diluted at the coil. Give it a good 10 or so drags (if you haven't done so already). If it still hasn't picked up by then, ???

Agreed with arjay55. If the coil is still damp or the wick is, the flavour and vapour will be muted.
