With kanthal wire the 32 gauge seems to be the most liked by everyone including me.

In my experience with HV I try not to go over 2 amps, 7.4v, 2amps would be a 3.7 ohm coil 14.8 watts. That would be 9 wraps of 32awg kanthal on a 2mm diameter ss wick for me. You can easily burn up a regulator with a short at these high values. If you know the risks it can be a good vape, similar to inhaling a good cigar.

I think he may be talking about the wiring in the mod itself which would be 20-22ga wire usually

18ga may be better if ya can make it work

current would be better to determine the wire then voltage . Just cause its running 7.4v doesnt mean much since you will probably be using a higher ohm atty. 20-22 should be more then sufficiant . 18 is kinda hard to work with in most cases
