Guess I was cheating...but it didn't work

Thought I had it sussed. Since I'm using a 75/25 pre-mix base I've been just putting about 3/4 of the base (in a 6ml bottle) and then adding 4 to 6 or so drops of flavoring. Worked the first time. But now, just doesn't do it. Actually had a kind of plastic taste to it. I thought because I was using a pre-mix I could get away without calculating everything. Not working. Tonight I'm cheating and adding my Nicquid flavors to my own (tastes great, I must admit). I guess my question is how would one use the e-juicemeup calculator (which I love) if you're using a pre-mixed base?

Just load that mixture in at the top where you put your nic at.

So I have another question that might fit in here too. As I said, I've added a few drops of a favorite commercial liquid, just to improve the taste some, at least for the moment. Well the pre-mix base I'm using is 24mg, now I'm adding a few drops of Line Rider, lets say, which is also 24mg. What am I doing to my overall nic content? I mean I've mixed commercial flavors before and never noticed any increased nic level. Or am I way off the mark here?

Jmur if you add 24mg juiced to 24mg base it stays 24mg. If you add non nicotine flavoring to the base, then it will drop the nic level. If you mix two separate nic levels then it will be somewhere in-between depending on the percentages of each. If you don't want to do the math (which I don't), then the calculator above or one like e-juice me up will do it for you.
