Well we're up to 18,558 now. That's over 200 new members since my post on 9/20 (evening).

Well, it's getting pretty close...now up to 18,708 members....1300 to go.
Don't forget....now that summer is over, more people tend to be on the net....so it might come even quicker than we think!

Lu, I see 17917 on the Member list off of the Quick links menu. Does that mean 830 people left in the last 5 days or is that not where you get the "official" number of members? And I'd have at least 100 posts if it weren't for "The server is too busy at the moment. Please try again later." and the irritation that follows that message...

Yeh, sorry about the 'busy signal' but SJ is in the process of getting a new server. With so many new members....particularly active members....I suppose it has put a strain on the current system

Well, around 850 members til 20,000. If you figure close to 100 new members a day, this date sounds pretty close!

My guess was Oct 9 at 12:01 AM PST which would be equal to 3:01 AM EST.
So there is actually a 6 hour difference between me and Mister.
