This was from Provape yesterday:

"I am contacting you in regards to your current order# 186602. We are unfortunately unable to fulfill your order for the blemished, standard, titanium ProVari. The one titanium tube we have was found to be oversized and therefore no top cap will fit into the tube appropriately. I'm so sorry for the bad news. Our production team tried to find an oversized top cap that would work but were unable to locate any.

If you would like any other finish, blemished or not, I will be happy to update your order accordingly. Otherwise, we will cancel this order as there were no other items ordered. Please let me know how you would like to proceed."

So if there was in fact only one tube, and it was unsuitable, then it is possible that when they cancelled my order it just popped back up in inventory on the site again automatically.

Given my money issues lately, maybe that was a good thing for me. I ended up getting a GMZ mini to serve as a spare. An awesome finish at less than a third of the price.
Oh I believed you before when you said they contacted you. You bring the bearer of such good news I gotta mess with ya tho!!!

I just wished to heck they had the tatroe endcaps listed yesterday so I could have added them to my order :(
If your order hasn't shipped yet do the ticket & have them add it. If they can go in & apply discounts they can go in & add to order.

You must not hang out on Ebay much. :)

A few months ago I was looking for a provape-1, and it was being offered along with a provari 2.5 (both looked to be a nice condition) for $48. And, somebody else won the bid. For $49 n' change. :)

The reason why most shoppers are ON Ebay is because they are very familiar with prices, all over the internet, and are shopping "competitively". :)

Yes, for some Ebay is just a retail store, but for anything not "new with tags" shoppers are looking for a great deal. And they will find it off Ebay, somewhere else, if they can't find it on Ebay.

Ebay is good for offering something that nobody else has, or things that are completely out of stock elsewhere.....like that great pair of insulated $150 running tights you bought years ago and can't find anymore. :) Those kinds of things will have bidding. Most everything else, sellers better price the item at about 1/2 of what it retails for, because otherwise, it's going to be hard to get a buyer. Or sometimes 60% or so.

It would be really "grinding it out" for someone to be profitable selling a blemished provari (which best be mentioned as buyers are not happy to get dings) when provape is selling new 2.5's for $69.

NOt to mention Ebay is still removing ecig ads when they can keep up with them. :)

I wonder what might turn up in a flashlight search.

:)

I hope that isn't the same tube I grabbed a few days ago when I saw a titanium on the blems page...just yesterday they emailed me saying the only Ti tube they had was too large and the top wouldn't fit so they had to cancel my order. Not a bad thing for me really, since I have been selling stuff to get money and have no business buying anything that expensive (one $29 GMZ blem won't kill me, right?). For your sake, I hope the tube is a good one but I have a feeling it might not be :(

Boom... you called it. Here's what I got from Provape this morning:

Hi Daniel,

Our processing team has asked me to contact you about your current order# 187824. You were somehow able to order an item that is out of stock, which is a blemished ProVari 2.5 in titanium. I am sorry for the further bad news. Is there any other finish you would like instead or should we cancel this order altogether?

Sincerely,
Kim

I asked for a stealth P3 as a replacement for their mistake... fingers crossed!
