Knowing me, I'd prolly forget the toe part, if I made 'em....... and use them for arm warmers.

(said the she who is suffering the brutality of West Coast 100 degree plus summer days......)
Hahahahahaaa!!! This made me laugh cause I dont know what the hell one of my friends was making but in the end whatever is wasn't became leg warmers.

Thank you, I did make them. Sock yarn is more addicting than Provari.
I crochet, but I haven't been able to learn to knit...maybe someday I'll take lessons, I need a lefty.
Course, I understand there are instructional videos on You Tube....
HOWEVER, I still go drool over the sock yarns when yarn shopping. Such yummy, yumminess!!!

Rock out wit'cha sock out!!!! :rickroll:
I'd definitely rock out with these.
Couldn't make them tho! With my skills, one would be longer than the other! :p
I tried to do some simple knitting stitches...it was more than pitiful.

The stitches in the pillow are the exact same stitch as the throw. For the pillow, you just keep adding a row and it gets bigger and bigger. For the throw, you stop after 4 or 5, or so, and then you have to stitch all those buggers together and work in the end tails.
ETA: Either one is easy, peasy. :)

Where are my manners?? Hi Kat!
I ordered my meter thingie. :D

Easy peasy huh?? I sort of follow, Lori. I used to do some needlepoint back in the day when classes bored me to tears, but now all "those buggers together and work in the end tails" are simply left for wicking a coil.

Manners, deluxe, dahlink! Hi to you too, and grats on the meter maid!!

You guys went crazy last night, so I'll just post back to everyone.

I am a self-taught lefty. There really isn't right and left knitting. Both hands have to do something, so once you get the knit and purl stitches down, you can do almost anything. Knitting was something I wanted to try as a way to stop smoking. It didn't really work well for the quitting part, but did make it easier to deal with waiting places where I couldn't smoke inside during the long waits or on road trips where I couldn't smoke in the vehicle and had to wait for the next stop.

The socks are done from the toes up, on 2 circular needles. I didn't want to have to sew anything together, and as long as I don't give up after the first sock, I will end up with a pair. Socks are more of a mindless knitting for me, and involve lots of counting. There is the magic that happens when you turn the heel, but after that, just more counting.

I do collect the sock yarns like the Provari's because there are so many cool colors and if they didn't want you to buy more, they would only come in basic black and white/silver. I have a nice stash of yarns as well as DIY supplies for the dooming. I need to get busy on the DIY sweater that has been lonely since I've been goofing off over here, but if anyone is done with their stocking up on vape gear, Webs yarn dot com is starting their big sale season, so there will be lots of pretties to be had in time for holiday knitting while y'all enjoy vapin' on the goodies you harvested over the summer.

I ordered one of the 2.5 Zombies yesterday to go with some of the socks I've already made. If someone happened to have a Super Bird in his driveway, this would be the perfect mod to go with your Roadrunner. Collecting Provari will take up less space in your garage, but old MOPAR would be fun too.

see, I kept it mostly on topic with only a few spins off track and into the sand pit.

Oh yeah! My blem Classic in black showed up today...I can't find the blem BTW, and I had ordered an extension cap with it. Well, ProVape was kind enough to throw in an extra matching ring in the box! Love it, Thanks ProVape  You folks really do rock!
