Gums and Teeth

Hmmm that's interesting. I assume you were a smoker. How much did you smoke and do you exclusively vape now? 24 mg is a somewhat high nic content as I'm sure you know. Just to weigh in I haven't had any problems with sore teeth or gums. I'm a relatively new vaper and I was hoping for the opposite as I've completely stopped smoking. Was hoping my oral health would improve due to stopping with the cigs. I'd be curious to read more responses and see if anyone's had any problems. Good luck and welcome to ECF.

Despite the experiences of the prior posters, sore gums isn't an unusual side effect; however, it's not due to vaping, it's a consequence of quitting smoking. Here is a brief overview:

Why do my gums bleed now I've switched to vaping?

Unfortunately, another side effect of quitting smoking can be flare-ups in those suffering from Ulcerative Colitis. While studies seem to indicate that it is nicotine keeping the condition in remission in those who smoke cigarettes there may be something different in the delivery or amount of nicotine absorbed while vaping, since members have reported a return of symptoms even though they are vaping nicotine.
