My daughter and I both started vaping almost 2 months ago. She said tonight that she notices that her gum line (by her teeth) are tender feeling when she vapes...anyone else experience this? She has always used the same flavor, menthol-like, since the beginning. Says she only feels it when vaping. I suggested maybe a mouthwash for tooth/gum sensitivity or something similar?

It could be several things:

Still part of the healing process. Many people have gum issues after they stop smoking and the vasoconstrictor effect from smoking is gone.

Do you know what the PG/VG ratio of that liquid is? This has been reported as an issue for people who are particularly sensitive to PG. In those cases lowering the PG level or eliminating it helps.

It may be a dry mouth problem if she isn't drinking enough liquids.

Must drink something while vaping. You don't get a build up of saliva like you do with analogs. You get more of a drying effect. Chain vape for an hour and you will have one dry mouth. I always keep coffee or water close by. Depends on the flavor I'm vaping at the time. Oh DIY Valarian root extract is so relaxing when vaped. Get the VG form free of alcohol. Vaping alcohol might not be good.
