Gunk-free driptip

What in the world are you guys doing with your drip tips that they end up gunky (or maybe I don't want to know) because I've never had any gunk develop on any of mine.

I tend to have chapped lips. Yes, even in Florida. Metal drip tips seem to collect .... dead skin... for lack of a better term. Delrin doesn't collect that stuff on the outside but I'm wondering if the Delrin is contributing to my dry lips.

I'm using the stainless steel to see if it makes a difference in the chapped lips... And the experiment begins today.

Move out to the high desert, you can't drink enough water. NV is about as dry as it gets (I'm at 4500ft ASL)

Maybe my atty's do more spitting than yours as chapped lips are the least of my worries.

It's now Wednesday. My lips are waaaaaaaay less chapped but I have to clean off my drip tip a LOT more.

I like not having Really chapped lips so the tradeoff is worth it to me.

Now if I could find the perfect balance...

Wonder what glass would do? Think I have one glass drip tip around here...

I will echo some of the replies in here and say delrin is pretty gunk free. I have not had to clean gunk off it since I got my baby beast.
