Sorry @PatVapes you are having trouble with that tank... I am not familiar with that specific tank and so will not provide input.... It does sound like an o-ring issue or something similar.

Well from what others have said it seems like it just likes leaking when upside down. I think the problem is how much cotton I’m using and how I fluff it. I think I’ve been combing it too much because this time I didn’t do that and it’s really smooth when I vape it

I’m sorry for snapping. My boyfriend of 3 years broke up with me one day before my birthday which is two days before Christmas and I’m just mad at everything. On top of that I just wanted my tank to work properly. I know I’m being overly sensitive
Cool, then I can troll one of your threads in the future with no fear.;)

I mean go ahead, if you’re prepared for my Latina rage. Just saying

Sorry to hear about your bf, his loss right ;)
Super douchey timing though on his part

It’s whatever. I just think everything happens for a reason

Yep, that very well could be …. I have owned various tanks and some of them can be quite picky about the way they are wicked.... Too much cotton, too little cotton, or cotton placed in not quite the correct position and you may experience problems.

Yeah, I’ve been trying to use a mix of all the comments I get here as well as rip trippers way of wicking this tank. But yeah it’s all about experimenting

Just because it is a top air flow tank is no reason for the eliquid to come out if you flick the thing.
You have another problem then. Those are all I use myself.

As you say you keep rewicking, I suggest you're missing an o-ring or at least one is damaged.

Perhaps the one that seals the fill mechanism, since the problem arose after a refill.

I'd be looking into a different tank, I really don't like leaky toppers.

Literally just bought it lol. I’m pretty happy with it, except for the little problems I encounter cause I’m still practicing. I don’t really plan on getting another tank at least for a few more months. I’m a part time teacher, I’m poor

Leaking through the airflow, spit-back and gurgling is a clear indication the deck is flooded. I also own the Zeus Dual. And given it is in rotation with many other atomizers, it spends much of its time filled with juice on its side, upside down or being knocked around by my cat….it does not leak!

You want your cotton wicks to be cut just so they are filling the juice ports without voids and loose enough to slightly move freely. This may take some trial and error. Too tight and the coils will not saturate – too loose and you will over saturate the coils.

Don't be afraid to put a new wick in as often as you want. Some wicks might last a few days, depending on the juice. The more you do it the better you'll get. I re-wick every couple of days. Sometimes i'll get into the habit of re-wicking everytime the tank empties. Doesn't hurt the flavour either.

A quick dry burn wouldn't go a miss, for good measure !.
