GUS Telescopic and Battery Direction (Upside Down)...

After having a battery explode (on a cheapo charger) recently, I've become a little more paranoid about safety. Recently I got a Nitecore charger and threw my AWs in the trash due to superstition. The only problem is I have a GUS telescopic mod that I adore but it seems that it was designed for the batts to go in upside down. Is this safe? After reading all these "don't do it!" posts on various forums I'm a bit worried.

My Gus Lord telescoping mod isn't designed to take the battery backwards. Just put it in the correct way & vape it.
