Hey, somehow I can't reply to the "introduction" thread, but wanted to introduce myself.
If this is the wrong section, I won't be offended if my post will get locked.
Anyhow, I'm German, live in Seattle, play very annoying punk rock and am a chain smoker. Ordered the SmokeStik Pit Bull, was dumb enough to return it (went through 3 cartomizers a day, obviously not vapping right and thought, this is going to be even more than cigarettes money wise, hated the taste at first but now miss it). Ordered a 510, which had a bad battery and am waiting for a refund. Almost went for the ProVape, however didn't want to deal with the mess, so now I just called the poor guys from Smokestik after just returning my kit, asking to ship it back and ordered 50 cartomizers on top. Yeah, I know, what an idiot. Should have just stuck with the pit bull all along, but I guess we learn from your mistakes. The customer service is outstanding. I really got addicted to the device (which dawned on me AFTER I had shipped it back), now I can't wait to get it back. That about covers my little insanity in regards to vaping. Guten Tag und willkommen! I think you should've gone for the ProVape myself. You could use cartomizers with it. Let us know how you like the Smokestik the second time around! Pull up a seat and get comfy! We're a really nice bunch of people!

Hey, welcome to the forum. You can save a ton of money by refilling with your own juice instead of throwing those cartos out when they're empty. Juice is about $10 for 15ml, most of us go through about 3ml per day.

I don't know if this is relevant or not, but here's a video on how to refill a smokestik carto. In the video it's from a 4081, but perhaps they are similar...?

This is actually the right place to post. That introduction thread is confusing and comments are closed on it anyway. And after 5 posts/replies and wait an hour then you can post anywhere on the forum. After 15 and an hour you get Edit Signature in your settings.

Refilling is great. There are so many good juices. Most of my faves come from...

FreedomSMokeUSA - esp oRYental 4 (a sweet caramelly vanilla tobacco) and Desert Ship (a funky Turkish blend tobacco)
Backwoods Brew - Casablanca and Vanilla Bean (I love Vanilla Bean in a carto and it's a great flavor for mixing with others too)
Velvet Vapors - some nice sweets. Vanilla Almond Tobacco is mostly rich sweet vanilla with some TH, and Raspberry Ginger Ale is fun

I usually aim for 70pg/30vg and at VV I get their Velvet Blend PG/VG

BTW I think the regular Smokestik is RN4081 and you can get some cheaper parts at AZSmokeFree.com. Not sure what the Pitbull is but if your cartomizers have the male threads then it is probably RN4081.

Thanks everybody. A few minutes after ordering the smokestik the second time around, the guy from ProVape answered my e-mail, hadn't I just placed my order, I would have went with him. However, I didn't want to sound completely "crazy" to the smokestik rep, so I went ahead and kept the order. I know that I'm wasting money (thanks for posting the video, refilling cartomizers). I just spend $170 for a 50 pack. Well, gotte blow your student loans somehow right.
