Id rather not kill anyone if I can, but if they are in my house and a threat to my or my families lives well, its a risk they obviously are willing to take =)

Im all for concealed carry, but it bothers me that open carry is not allowed. Everyone is just pure afraid of firearms now, like the sight of them alone is enough to send some people into fits. Its really quite sad, i feel if more good citizens were carrying and comfortable with their devices we would live in a safer place, not more dangerous. I hate arguing about it though, people just never give up. Guns are bad evil killing machines and turn men into maniacs! Mehhh

So how do you all feel about concealed carry. Honestly i feel better when im out know that other people are armed. Should something arise it wont only be a criminal thats armed.

I'm all for open/conceal carry, make me feel less stressed when out and aboot.

Same here but you can use less than lethal ammo like Rock Salt shells for shotguns and rubber bullets, just don't aim for the head. I prefer less than lethal ammo but sometimes criminals shoot before you can so in those instances lethal ammo is needed. My buddy and I were chillin in his house while someone broke in but laid on the floor crying all the way to the hospital after he got peppered with Rock Salt, some nasty wounds but he lived...won't be ever attempting that with my buddy.

Killing is never good but either is dying. I know two people that have used thier guns in self defense. Growing up in a rough neighborhood in Kansas city would bring a situation like that. Thier both pretty screwed in the head from what happened. I think its against normal human nature to kill.

Ive always loved the rock salt idea. I remember this one cranberry bog we would skate on as kids, the guy would come running out with his shotgun sometimes yelling about his rock salt and how we were going to be crying and running home if we didnt walk right now.

I do live in a pretty safe area, but i dont believe there is ANYWHERE 100% safe

Not really but we aren't conditioned to deal with killings like other societies were, I haven't shot anyone but had to resort to stabbing not 1 but 2 people due to them attacking me with dusters...they didn't die but it was justified. After that I was a lil emotional but mainly that these random individuals attempted to halt my life but I would do that again if the situation was needed.

I had a Taser but that broke while defending myself but as soon as I shot, I took off running calling the police to let them know what occurred so the suspect couldn't spin that I was the suspect. Plus the Taser was registered to me so the officers knew it was legit and legal, I never want to kill a human but if it happens I will make sure it is justified and not a senseless killing. I enjoy my rights and living with no criminal record, rant over.

Getting peppered by Rock Salt is a very great less than lethal ammo choice, you can make the Rock Salt chunky or like bird shot...great choice for CQC aka Home Protection.

I actually have multiple types of ammo - I do not want to be lethal, but I will protect my own. I think if I am met with force, I will meet with force - especially when it comes to my family.

Multiple types of ammo is great, like ammo for hunting medium-large game, ammo for varmint, ammo for target practicing, ammo for less than lethal/lethal for home protection, and ammo for zombie Apocalypse.

Muffins?! Muffins are for boys. Real men eat cupcakes.

Neh... let me share something completely unrelated. Toys for real men!

[4o Helifoz] Tareq Alsaadi - Trex 700 voando ao lado de um Heli de verdade! (Brazil) - YouTube

I woulndna believed that could be done like that if I hadn't seen it! Was watching History Channel or the like last nite and saw the new chopper they have in development for the Services. Dual main blades negate the need for the regular tail prop, but they have an aft facing prop back there for propulsion- pretty sweet.

Guess this thread'll get booted into the lounge if we don't talk about vape stuff, huh?

Thankfully my state has Open and Concealed Carry, most folks who don't want to pay the high fees for the CCW permits can just Open Carry for free. ;)

Speakin' of bikes, I am a motorcycle enthusiast (Like all Bikes) I used to ride HD's exclusively but the dealers in my area really turned me off of Harleys back in 2001 so I started riding Victory motorcycles and haven't looked back. love this bike brand. Right now I have a 2004 Kingpin (bought new) and an '05 Suzuki Hayabusa plus a chopper project being built now.

I learned last year that Victory bought the rights to Indian Motorcycles and are going to bring them back to market soon, can't wait to see them. I may have to have one :D
