Gyrfalcon...What voltage setting

Hi
Just received a new Gyrfalcon All44 battery charger. More confusing than my old 2 bay intellicharger so I have a question.

I'll be charging 18650's but don't know which voltage to select. Anyone able to advise please?

IMR 18650 batteries are 3.7v Nominal but 4.2v when fully charged, What are your options?

The options are 1.5v, 3.6v, 4.2v, 4.3v and 4.35v.

Having looked up my batteries (Sony vt6, Samsung 25r and Samsung 30q) all day their discharge end voltage is 2.5v and I thought this was what it needed to be set at. I'm probably wrong though.

While I don't have this charger one would assume that some nice it's new, With luck all you should need to do is plug the thing in and insert batteries. The charger will automatically charge them to the correct level. You shouldn't have to set anything.

Pretty sure for 18650s it should be 4.2 I'm only pretty sure though. That charger looks like it's kind of a pain in the ..... My nitecore will detect type and charge anything I put into it without any settings

Unfortunately not with the Gyrfalcon. The desired amps and voltage have to be set manually.

Yes, but... unless you're in a hurry, use the 0.5A setting. A slower charge is kinder to your batteries and is likely to result in more charge/discharge cycles (i.e., they'll live longer).

Yes, that is the purpose of the two options given.

Shame there aren't more options for voltage. I never discharge past 3.6 and would love this charger if it let me top out at 4.0 or 4.1.
