Habit to hobby...

It always cracks me up when people ask if vaping is cheaper than smoking.

Considering what medical treatments for analog induced diseases cost, I would say vaping is cheaper than smoking. 
I started vaping in April and have spent close to $700. I have still saved $300 in that time and have a fun new hobby. Now I am looking into DYI juice so I can save more in the long run.

lets see been vaping for about a month and have 5 ego style batterys, 4 ego twist types, an evic, a zmax mini 2protanks, 2 vivi nova's 1 iclear 30 about 6 50 ml bottles of juice. I think I'm a vaping junkie.
It is a serious addiction! And it's fun so it's easy to get carried away. SVD from fasttech on it's way now and I still have to buy batteries and a charger. I'm not even a month in and have spent about $300 so far and I'm already looking at the DIY juice supplies. I'm having a blast!
Definately a great habit/hobby! I've not yet attempted to rebuild my coil heads but I have recently looked at a few vids on Youtube on "How to", so maybe soon I'll try it out.....Or show my Dad that video tutorial and let him try it out! Hes retired, it'll give him a project lol. I'm more DIY e-juices and making lanyards and such, really fun and by DIY e-juices I'm saving sooo much money! 
The nicotine i get from vaping is a habit...but the collecting, tinkering, and opportunities to be creative are all the hallmarks of a wicked fun hobby. 
It's a definite hobby for me, one I have taken to raising quail in addition to chickens to help fund. Hey, more birds, more eggs, more to sell, more money for the vape.
I've been in it for, ah... I think 10, maybe 11 days now, and I've already got more mods on order or on the "buy when they come out" list, and some 3mm silica and bamboo in transit to rebuild coils/wicks. 10 days from nothing to habit to hobby to... something we won't call addiction, just yet.

Loving it! It is a great device so far. Solid feel to it and easy to use. With an 18650 it is pretty long though.

I need to find this Clinic Fast! The problem is that it will nickel dime you. Only $10, WOW add to cart. Only $15.00 I need that! Only $20, what a steal. You really need to keep track of these things even if you have sufficient money to buy what ever you want. Yes I have not had a regular cigarette in over 9 months, but I haven't saved any money either. This is definitely a HOBBY that I need to control. I don't even own a ProVari or Caravella yet! Sites like Vapor Joes Blog just beg you to buy, buy, buy. Anyone else have this problem?

Lol yes especially with the cheap mech mods. I have decided I'm not buying anything more then necessary replacements until I can afford the poldiac I want.
It has definitely turned into a hobby for my husband and I...we've only been at it a month and already have a tackle box full...kind of on a juice buying spree right now.
