Had a wonderful moment today...

I quit analogs 4 months ago, and haven't looked back... I even ordered parts last night to try and build my own 5v box mod! Anyway...

I was cleaning today, and up on a high shelf I found one of my old ashtrays. Nothing in it, but it was dirty. One of those cheap-o but large plastic ones from Walmart. I walked into the kitchen, where I was just about finished loading up the dishwasher, and I was thinking, "now, should I rinse this out before I put it in the dishwasher, or just put it in. Everything else in there is dirty... so I guess it really doesn't matter...."....

Then I just kinda smiled to myself and tossed the thing in the trash. I think that was the first time I've felt it, deep down in my bones... I DON'T SMOKE ANYMORE! Such a great feeling, it almost made me skip back into the living room.

It's a great feeling, isn't it? For this smoker of 36 years dropping cigs was something I never thought I'd do. I kept a box of pretty glass ones (I dunno why) but the cheap plastic ones went in the trash. It's very "Free-ing"

I use mine to wash out my attys (alcohol soak).

LOL...I kept the pretty glass ones and threw out the others too !!
One is by the kitchen sink for my watch and rings.

I WANT THIS TO BE ME TOO! Man, I hope my ego does the trick for me!! I'm a pack a day smoker give or take and I'm getting sick and tired of waking up heavy chested and wanting to light up.

Yeah, I have a green glass one that I can't throw out... it was my dad's (died of lung cancer in '04). It's on the coffee table like always, only now my "butts" are empty attys
